The Spaniard has been in fine form all weekend and leads the stats in San Juan, with other riders looking at setting more World Superbike records!

Having enjoyed an incredible opening race of the weekend in Argentina, the 2019 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship looks set to continue to bring stunning action to an expectant South American audience. However, besides the on-track action, there’s a whole host of big numbers in prospect on day two. Find out which manufacturer is looking for a 200th consecutive points finish, and which rider looks to extend his new, all-time consecutive point-scoring streak in the Tissot Superpole Race and beyond.

.)    After Race 1 in San Juan, Bautista’s winning rate is up to 50% as he won 16 out of 32 since he joined the WorldSBK Championship.

.)    Bautista set the new season record for fastest race laps, 15. The previous one, 14, was set by Doug Polen in 1991 and by Jonathan Rea in 2017 and 2018.

.)    Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) will be looking to become the first rider ever to achieve 45 consecutive point-scoring finishes in WorldSBK, should he finish in the Tissot Superpole Race and also in Race 2.

.)    Kawasaki are looking to equal their best consecutive point-scoring sequence in the Tissot Superpole Race, the 200th race in succession that they’d have been in the points. Points in Race 2 for the Japanese manufacturer would be the best ever for the manufacturer.

.)    A British race win in the Tissot Superpole Race would be the 255th for the UK in WorldSBK. The same stat applies to Race 2 if this is not achieved.

.)    Michael van der Mark pursues his 30th podium in WorldSBK, having achieved all of the Dutch podiums in World Superbike.

.)    This was the first Yamaha podium in San Juan, making it the 41st track in which they score at least one podium. Now, Yamaha has podium finishes in all the current tracks.

.)    13th career podium for Toprak Razgatlioglu in Race 1, up to the 42nd all-time ranking. At his next one he will enter the Top 40, reaching Loris Baz and Davide Giugliano.

.)    Tom Sykes recorded the best result for BMW in San Juan: 7th in Race 1; up from the 9th scored by Loris Baz last year in Race 1.

.) Alessandro Delbianco took the best Tissot Superpole result for an Italian on a Honda since Davide Giugliano was sixth at Magny-Cours in 2017. This was the best dry-weather Superpole result since Michel Fabrizio was fifth at Magny-Cours in 2013.
